The home must be completely vacant before your appointment begins. That means:
- No furniture
- No boxes
- No personal belongings
- No active packing
- No movers working inside
- No residents moving in or out around the cleaning crew
Still packing or moving? No problem — request your cleaning for after the home will be completely empty.
When you request this service, we ask you to acknowledge the empty-home requirement so everyone's day runs on schedule.
Included in an empty-home cleaning
- Inside cabinets, drawers and closets
- Inside the refrigerator and oven
- Bathrooms cleaned top to bottom, including fixtures and tracks
- Baseboards, door frames, switch plates, reachable vents
- Floors vacuumed and mopped throughout
Why moving cleanings are their own service
Empty-home cleaning covers surfaces that furnished cleanings never touch, so it takes longer and is priced accordingly. If your cleaning is connected to a move, this is the service that applies — our regular and deep cleanings are built for occupied, furnished homes.
A 1,200 sq. ft. rental is $300. A 2,000 sq. ft. house is $500. Move-in/move-out cleaning is a one-time service, so the recurring discount doesn't apply.
