Service Policies
We Put the Clean in Tallahassee Maid
Our cleaning appointments are focused on actually cleaning your home — kitchens, bathrooms, floors, surfaces and the places that need a good scrub. General tidying, organizing, laundry and bed making aren't automatically built into your cleaning price. That means your cleaning time is spent cleaning rather than picking up around the house.
Standard cleanings do not include

- Post-renovation cleaning
Bed making
Available as an add-on at $15 per standard bed. Clean, fresh linens need to be out and ready when we arrive. Bunk beds take noticeably more time and effort, so they're priced separately — we'll confirm that amount with you rather than quoting it automatically.
Dishes
Tallahassee Maid does not hand-wash dishes. Our team is glad to load dishes into the dishwasher if the dishwasher is empty and ready to load.
Organizing and laundry
Those tasks belong to our Mother's Helper package: $100 for exactly two hours at $50 per hour.
Home condition and pricing
Displayed pricing assumes normal residential conditions. Homes requiring substantially more time because of excessive buildup, heavy pet hair or unusual conditions may require an adjusted price. Any adjustment is confirmed with you — it is never applied as a hidden fee.
Pets
Pets are welcome, and having them never triggers an automatic surcharge. Heavy shedding, excessive pet hair or other pet-related conditions that require substantially more cleaning time may affect the final price. We'll confirm any adjustment before service whenever possible.
Post-construction and renovation
Tallahassee Maid specializes in residential housekeeping and does not provide post-construction or post-renovation cleaning. Homes with recent construction, remodeling, flooring, drywall, painting or similar work require specialized dust and debris removal and aren't eligible for our Regular, Deep, or Move-In/Move-Out cleaning services.
Undisclosed recent construction or renovation conditions discovered upon arrival may result in service being declined or cancelled. Once post-construction cleanup has been completed and the home has returned to normal residential condition, we'd be happy to help with ongoing cleaning.
Move-in and move-out cleanings
The home must be completely empty before a move-in/move-out cleaning begins: no furniture, boxes, belongings, active packing, movers working inside, or residents moving around the crew. Cleanings connected to a move are always booked as move-in/move-out cleaning.
Requests and confirmations
Submitting the appointment form sends us a request, not a confirmed booking. Prices shown on this site and in the estimator are estimates based on the information provided. Tallahassee Maid reviews every request and confirms your appointment and final price by text or email before service.
